Rules of the Wheels Go Round equipment exchange/User Terms of Agreement:

We want to make you aware of a few things regarding Wheels Go Round equipment exchange:

• The parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that the acquired equipment is appropriate for the needs of the individual for whom it is acquired. Wheels Go Round does not provide assessment or fitting services. Involvement of your qualified physical therapist or other professional is recommended in selecting equipment and/or fitting/refurbishing or making modifications or repairs to equipment.
• Equipment is available for individuals only. Request for equipment from therapist/professionals should be for the specific person of need. The Wheels Go Round site is not intended to furnish equipment for healthcare businesses/professionals.
• Wheels Go Round cannot vouch for the condition of the equipment you receive. We ask that only gently used or like new equipment be listed on the site.  Equipment must be accepted on an “as is” basis. Any future repair or replacement of parts such is the sole responsibility of the recipient and Wheels Go Round will make no recommendations for such services.
• We would deeply appreciate your consideration of donating your child’s gently used pediatric medical equipment, adaptive toys or assistive technology devices when your child is no longer in need of them.  Also, if you do not wish to list items on the site, you may donate equipment to UCP in Nashville or other similar equipment exchange programs/warehouses when you have equipment you are no longer using. An equipment exchange is most effective when everyone makes contributions as well as requests to the program.

Release

This release is by and between the undersigned and Wheelsgoround.org aka Wheels Go Round.

In consideration of Wheels Go Round aka wheelsgoround.org equipment exchange website,  donation of equipment, the undersigned, agrees that the undersigned will not make a claim against, sue, attach the property of, or prosecute Wheels Go Round aka wheelsgoround.org or any of it’s agents or volunteers (collectively, “Wheels Go Round aka wheelsgoround.org” and its affiliates) for injury or damage resulting from negligence or other acts, howsoever caused and/or relating in anyway to the equipment, use of equipment or otherwise.

Wheels Go Round also known as wheelsgoround.org  makes no representation as to the condition of aforementioned equipment. The undersigned is aware that the equipment is donated “as-is” from individual to individual and any future repair or replacement such as batteries, wheels etc. is the sole responsibility of the recipient.

The undersigned is aware that any maintenance costs, modifications, safety requirements,or other conditions necessary for use of said equipment or vehicle are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the undersigned. Use of said equipment is at the sole and discretionary risk of the undersigned. The undersigned has carefully read this release and fully understands its contents. The undersigned is aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between the undersigned and Wheelsgoround.org aka Wheels Go Round and its affiliates and/or partner organizations. The undersigned has signed this release of the undersigned’s own free will.
